finally...a political ad worth watching....

uber-anti-illegal alien crusader and republican presidential candidate Tom Tancredo has just released a WHOPPER of an ad (probably the best since Goldwater's "daisy" ad in the '64 campaign), and the only way you'll probably ever see it is to click here, because they've yanked it off of YouTube for content...the same YouTube who routinely lets jihadi videos remain on their site no matter how much people complain.

his campaign will never make enough money to actually put this thing on TV anywhere.

i've heard comments to the effect of "it looks like he's claiming the Mexicans are terrorists", but i don't see it.

if you don't believe the islamo-fascists are infiltrating this country, due to our porous borders and weak enforcement, how about a story from YESTERDAY about how an illegal alien woman who worked for the CIA and the FBI pled guilty to conspiracy, unauthorized computer access, and naturalization fraud in a US district court. she had links to hezbollah. she's not allowed to leave the country now, due to the sensitivity of the information she accessed. and, of course, we can't forget the 9/11 hijackers, who all overstayed their visas.

as i blogged about here at NGNG a few days back, the folks who run the Empire State Bldg have decided to appease the "Religion of Peace".

here's a story from India about it...the comments section is classic. muslims vs hindus, trading insults back and forth about algebra and stuff. Examples:

"Dont Use any computer, because Algebra (the foundation of Maths) and Algorithms are result of Muslim innovation"

"who the hell told you that algebra or algorithms were discovered by muslims??? bloody looters have looted from greeks and indians."

"Totla (sic) number of scientific publication in the last 150 years from all the islamic countries put together cannot equal equal Mexico's. That much for your scientific contribution."

"Why does it take 2 planes in the belly to get smart."

Investor's Business Daily sees it exactly the way i do...it's an example of creeping sharia invading the US. they ask:

i've read that it's extraordinary to light the ESB in colored light, but while searching for the picture at the top of this post, i ran across this. apparently, back in May it was lit up in green as a part of the "Green Apple Festival". it just goes to show that you can't trust the internet...

as if the installation of footbaths for muslims in universities wasn't enough (here at the University of British Columbia, here at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, here at NYU...), some dope who should know better is going to use NYC's tallest (NOW) and most iconic structure (not to mention the most precious target) to pay respect to the "Religion of Peace".

New York's iconic Empire State Building is to be lit up green from Friday in honor of the Muslim holiday of Eid, the biggest festival in the Muslim calendar marking the end of Ramadan, officials said.
"This is the first time that the Empire State Building will be illuminated for Eid, and the lighting will become an annual event in the same tradition of the yearly lightings for Christmas and Hannukah," according to a statement.

Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of the fasting month, is expected to be celebrated in New York from Friday, depending on when the new moon is sighted, and the city's tallest skyscraper will remain green until Sunday.

Built in the early 1930s, the 443-meter-tall (1,454-feet-tall) Empire State Building was first lit up with colored lighting in 1976, when red, white and blue lights were used to mark the American Bicentennial.

An estimated seven million Muslims live in the United States.

it's all here if you want to read it. it's pretty interesting. what stood out to me was this section of the article:

this captures a feeling i've had for the longest time.

Hillary! campaign preventing release of "The Path to 9/11"?

according to Cyrus Nowrasteh, one of the mini-series' many producers, YES.

(from a story today in the LA Times):
With no date for the release, questions are being raised about whether political pressure is behind its current status as a stalled or discarded DVD project. The reasons are murky, but the miniseries' writer, Cyrus Nowrasteh, believes it's crystal clear: Powerful forces are out to protect Bill Clinton's presidential legacy and shield Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) from any potential collateral damage in her bid for the White House.

Nowrasteh, also one of the miniseries' many producers, said he was told by a top executive at ABC Studios that "if Hillary weren't running for president, this wouldn't be a problem."

remember, this is such a touchy subject to the Clintons that before the film's release, there was a full-on freakout blitz put on by their supporters to pressure ABC/Disney to prevent it's showing, or at least make key changes to 'correct the historical record', as it may...(a.k.a., put them in a more favorible light):

(according to CNN) In the past week former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, former national security adviser Samuel Berger, Clinton Foundation head Bruce Lindsey and Clinton aide Douglas Band have written letters to Disney CEO Robert Iger to express dismay with the film.

"It is unconscionable to mislead the American public about one of the most horrendous tragedies our country has ever known," Lindsey and Band wrote.

They called the project "a fictitious rewriting of history" and urged it be shelved until "egregious factual errors" could be fixed.

Berger objected to the reported portrayal of him refusing to authorize a strike targeting bin Laden when CIA operatives had the al Qaeda leader in their sights.

...Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi have also joined in calling reported details of key scenes false and misleading.

In a letter to Iger, Reid said the reputation of ABC's parent company, the Walt Disney Corporation, would be "deeply damaged" if the film aired with those scenes intact.

ABC/Disney bowed to the pressure. disclaimers aired at several times during the showing of the film (distancing itself from the 9/11 Commission Report). It had several disputed scenes deleted.

on a further Clinton offensive, President Clinton showed up on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace in a one-on-one interview where he used intimidation tactics like giving Wallace the "crazy eyes", standing up and leaning over Wallace, and jabbing his finger into Wallace's knee to make the point that this was all just some crazy "right-wing conspiracy" to suggest that the Clinton Administration didn't do all it could to counter terrorism:



it's easy to understand the Clinton's sensitivity to this...for one thing, while Hillary! was grooming herself to run for the presidency, she made sure to get a seat on the Senate Armed Services committee, to make sure that, as a woman, she had some military credentials. then, she voted to go to war in Iraq...though she later said that she was misled by Bush, which led to her current position of getting the troops out...(this IS her current position, right? what day is it?). when she casted her vote FOR the war, she stated that it was "the most important vote she'd ever make", or something to that effect...a vote SO IMPORTANT that she didn't even bother to read the NIE (National Intelligence Estimate) report before the critical vote was cast, even though Sen. Bob Graham (D-FL), no dove, mind you, IMPLORED all of his colleagues to read it. (Graham voted NO.)

back to "the path to 9/11", in my opinion it doesn't show the Clinton Administration in a bad light at all. if anything, it shows how screwed up the federal gov't's bureaucracy is...the FBI hiding "evidence" from the CIA, the CIA hiding "intelligence" from the FBI, the state department tying the hands of investigators, ETC... NOBODY in their right mind should ever accuse Clinton of ignoring the threat. he didn't, and couldn't know what the full extent could possibly be. the government did what, at the time, it COULD do. in the movie, the Bush administration is at the helm during the biggest calamity. what's the problem?

conservative bloggers (e.g. :"my pet jawa", not to pick on them..) have been in a tizzy the last few days because of this post on Daily Kos, and other similar ones around the blogosphere, which insinuate that Pat Tillman was murdered as a part of a Bush Administration conspiracy to silence Tillman, who, as the conspiracy theory goes, was going to become an anti-iraq war activist as soon as his stint in afghanistan was over.

i admit it. i believed the original story where he died charging up the hill, killing 571 taliban and al-queada dudes, or however the story went. after the incident was then labeled a "friendly fire" accident, i grudgingly acknowledged it, though i fought like crazy against the notion that PAT TILLMAN could've been a "fan" of the writings of noam chomsky, because everybody knows that AMERICAN SOLDIERS wouldn't be caught dead reading the anti-american hate spewing from prof. chomsky's mouth...(here i was in October 2005 denying that Tillman could've been a fan of Chomsky and just generally wanting to believe the propaganda)...until it dawned on me that i read noam chomsky, too!!! for laughs, y'know...

if what's been reported about the just-released report re:Tillman is true, i.e., that the bullet holes in Tillman's head are consistent with an M-16 fired from about 10 yards away, well, that raises all kinds of questions about what really happened out there. was it "fragging"? did Tillman step over the line with his exhortation to a fellow ranger to "stop sniveling"?

i'm still not buying into the bush/cheney angle...YET.

i'll never forget when Osama Bin Laden released a tape more or less feeding (aping?) the same lines as moore...it's not just me & right-wingers that said it; here's uber-lib chris matthews on "hardball" in 2006:

"This is from bin Laden in the audio today. “There is no defect in the solution other than preventing the flow of hundreds of billions to the influential people and war merchants in America.” I mean, he sounds like an over-the-top Michael Moore here, if not a Michael Moore."

Michael Moore embraces these ideas because he hates the country which makes his disgusting overweight ass a millionaire.

the juxtaposition of these topics is valid because of Moore's use of 9/11 victims in his new film.
