Republicans should take notice:

"Homelessness, and quality of life issues, are dividing the liberals and the progressives in this city," says David Binder, a statistical analyst and founder of David Binder Research. "The liberals will say we've got to get tough on the homeless and the progressives are more old-line liberal."

it's got all the markings of a really sissified fight...but it could be funny...

i can see this playing out all over the country, especially if the Dems win back the presidency and the homeless issue is again swept off the front pages..."homeless problem? what homeless problem?"
